Background
With the long history in mushroom cultivation,
China has been the largest mushroom producer, consumer and exporter in the world. Zhangzhou, well-known as the capital of mushroom industry and cannery in China, has become the epicenter of mushroom and canned food through rapid development in past decades. The complete industry chain including cultivation, processing, trading and logistics of mushroom and canned food has come into being in Zhangzhou.
Zhangzhou has successfully hosted the Chinese Mushroom Days in consecutive three years since 2007. The Chinese Mushroom Days has established itself as a leading and international platform for mushroom business in
Asia even worldwide.
In order to serve the mushroom industry in
China and Asia, it was agreed to hold the 4th Chinese Mushroom Days on Nov.18-22, 2010.
